Dubai MiracleGarden much like its name is the world’s largest natural flower garden located in Al Barsha South 3 in Dubailand. The garden was launched on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The area is home to nearly 45 different species of flowers beautifully sculpted in impressive and breathtaking designs. Dubai Miracle Garden is known to be the greenest spot in UAE. The place is more than just a flower garden, spread over 72,000 square meters it features over 109 million flowers intricately displayed for visitors. It definitely is a mortal sin to be in Dubai and not see Dubai Miracle Garden.
The green stretch is also home to recently opened Dubai Butterfly Garden making it world’s largest indoor butterfly garden and sanctuary. There are over 15,000 intriguing butterflies from 26 species. Entering its 7th year the place brings in more floral installations making it interesting for kids to watch the entire evolution of a butterfly right from a cocoon to a beautiful flying species. Many are yet unaware of the fact that Dubai Miracle Garden is not a park but a botanical garden. Hence, a certain set of rules and regulations are imposed to protect the flowers. Which includes no outside food, people cannot sit on the grass or roam around on a bicycle. Needless to worry, there are many food counters in the Dubai miracle garden that serve different varieties of things – kebabs, ice cream, pastries, vegetarian food etc. Amid the hustle and bustle of the city, the garden with over 45 million flowers bloomed in different colours, size, and shapes resembling circles, sculptures, hearts, stars, birds, vintage style vehicles, flowers designed in 3D shapes are a treat for sore eyes. Situated in the heart of a desert city, the garden has an endless list of seasonal floral varieties.
However, what makes this place more interesting is its unique sub-surface drip irrigation system which saves 70% of water and utilizes waste water effectively. That’s not all, the garden has also recently unveiled a recreated Disney Avenue.
Most Affordable Way To Reach The Garden
The Dubai Garden located in Dubailand, along Umm Suqeim Road is about a 20-minute drive from Mall of the Emirates. The immediate option would be to rent a private car, however, if you’re not an experienced driver, driving in UAE is not suggested. Another option is to hire a Taxi to reach as it is comparatively less expensive. Red Dubai Sightseeing Bus is also an option to reach the place. The cheapest way to reach the attraction is public transportations. The Dubai Road & Transport Authority has announced a new route for visitors. The commuters can now aboard bus route number 105 to travel from Mall of the Emirates metro station to Dubai Miracle Garden for only 5 AED. Once you have completed your tour one can take the same bus to head back. Visitors can also hire taxi costing 35 AED to reach MOE metro station. Bus Route 105 timings for weekdays (Sunday to Thursday ) are from 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm, weekend (Friday and Saturday) are from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Things To Consider Before Going There
Dubai Miracle Garden is home to many flowers displayed in their absolute best. In fact, the World Record largest plane – Emirates Airbus A380 is covered entirely in flowers. Make sure you plan your time of the visit, as the park generally closes during the summer as the garden becomes hot and less pleasing to enjoy a tour. The garden is opened only during November to March, i.e, the winter season.
Timings Of Dubai Miracle Garden
The garden is open for total 12 hours. On weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) the garden opens from 9 am to 9 pm. On Weekends (Friday & Saturday) 9 am to 11 pm. The weather will be extremely hot in summer so visiting in the late evenings are recommended.
Entrance Fee For The Garden
Entrance fees for Dubai Miracle Garden for costs 40 AED for adults and 30 AED for children aged between 3 yr and 12yr. The ticket is free for disabled people and kids below 2 years old. Tickets are needed to be purchased from an official counter, tickets brought from outside vendors are not valid. The fees are not inclusive of Dubai Butterfly Garden. Ticket price for Butterfly Garden costs 50 AED.
